Google has warned webmaster against using deceptive mobile redirects for some gain last month. It will penalize the site containing redirects whether doing it intentionally or unknowingly. This is because visitors bouncing from one site to another would be frustrated decreasing the user experience. And it is known that user experience comes first for Google in search result even for mobile.
Andrey Lipattsey, the search quality senior strategist of Google, stated that quality team is specifically working on detection and taking action on mobile affiliate traffic networks that redirect users one to another site. He stated the reason for bringing penalty on those sites is harming the user experience.
He further said that publishers often add these networks on their sites to earn some extra money but sometimes it is not even known to publishers and advertisers. This was confirmed during a Google hangout recently.
