Interestingly, users underestimate their posts thinking it is seen by less number of friends. The lion share of posts is shared by some active users of these sites. This was found after researching more than 2 lakh users of this networking site.
Facebook has changed its algorithm and its ways of showing the posts in the newsfeed. Each post is viewable for about 900 milliseconds to friends. It is done by the EdgeRank after filtering the quality data. But expert assumes that average of seeing a post by your friend will remain the same.
